Pinacoteca
Pina Contemporânea is coming with a new cultural proposal for São Paulo! The Pinacoteca annex, on Tiradentes avenue, will have exhibition areas, squares, classrooms, shop, library, café, balconies and terraces.
With 6,000 sqm of constructed area distribute on 3 floors, Control Tec is managing this project with a focus on achieving sustainability goals, with maximum use of natural light, use of recyclable or reusable materials, rationalization of energy and water, reduction of pollution and waste at the construction site.
In addition to the Pina Contemporânea, the Pinacoteca already has two buildings that are part of the city's historical and architectural heritage: the Pina Luz (former Liceu de Artes e Ofícios, designed by Ramos de Azevedo's office and renovated in the 1990s by Paulo Mendes da Rocha) and Pina Estação (former headquarters of Sorocabana Railway, another project by Ramos de Azevedo later renovated by Haron Cohen).
